Life - a simple four-letter word. It’s a word easy to spell, easy to pronounce but not very easy to think about, much less to actually live through one. We often hear the expression "get a life." Sure it's easy to get one, but the real question is, what kind? What kind of life are you living, is it the kind that you want? If not, then how do acquire the kind of life that you desire? That is, if you're lucky enough to know what you want in the first place. I have been brought up in the thinking that life is special and sacred, that life shouldn’t be wasted. We must live life to the fullest, carpe diem and all that. But I'm not quite sure on how to go about doing just that. [...]

Patriotism and Discipline

All we need is love. However, there are so many types of love, at para sa akin, the type of love that we all need to have right now is love of country, the same patriotic love na ipinakita ni Rizal, Bonifacio at Ninoy. Alam kong madaling sabihin pero mahirap gawin. Papaano ba natin kayang patunayan na mahal natin ang bayan? Hindi natin kailangang mamatay para lang ipakita ang ating pagmamahal sa bayan, ginawa na yan ng mga bayani. Pero pwede rin tayong makatulong sa bansa kahit sa maliliit na paraan. Paano? I believe na ang isa sa pinaka-obvious na paraan ay ang pagkakaroon ng disiplina sa sarili. Tatlong taon na pala tayo magkakilala, ang sarap balikan ng mga memories. Hirap talaga mainlab sa net, madami na akong experience sa gani to, naiinlab sa chat, pero hinde pa din ako nadadala. Pero yung feeling ko sa iyo, talagang kakaiba, malakas ang kutob ko, iba ka sa kanila. Tumagal din tayo ng three years, ang tawag ko na nga sa mother mo MAMA, kase I consider her na nanay ko na din, pumayag ka naman na maging close ako sa family mo kase nga bf mo nga ako e. In love but unhappy?

It's been a little more than three years since we first started dating. From that time marami na kaming naranasan na hirap at ginhawa. We've always been able to get through anything as long as we're in it together.

That is, until recently. For about a couple of months now, I started being unhappy. Halos lahat ginagawa ko na para malibang ang aking isip at para maiwasan ko na baka makahalata siya sa nararamdaman kong kalungkutan sa buhay. I really do love her pero bakit ganun? Sa buong buhay mo, inakala mo na bang umibig ka? O kaya naramdaman mo ang malaking kabalastugan na “pag-ibig”? Masakit diba? Halu-halong emosyon, minsan walang humpay na kaligayahan, maganda, mapagbigay, masalimuot, mahapdi, mabigat, ma...

Ang pag-ibig ay walang hanggang katanungan na walang sino man ang nakasasagot hangga’t hindi natatagpuan, na minsan kahit umiibig ka na, hindi mo pa rin mahanap ang tunay na kasagutan sa iyong nararamdaman.
