The reason that burgers look so good in commercials is because they are undercooked.

Some people out there say that the reason the food looks so good on TV is because it’s fake. But actually it is done by group of people known as “food stylists”.

Food styling is not an easy job. All the makings of the original product usually go into the commercial, but if they put that good to eat but quite un-photogenic burger you’ll get after watching their commercial, it just wouldn’t motivate you to shell out four dollars for it. On the other hand, a burger with perfectly shaped buns, just like a woman, will grab your attention.

Those yummy burgers don’t come easy. Everything must look right, not just the bun. Sometimes the better part of a day is spent peeling heads of lettuce for that perfect leaf or slicing tomatoes and onions until they’re just right. Even an otherwise photogenic bun at times needs a bit of makeup. Extra sesame seeds are strategically glued on.
