Windstruck (Hangul: 내 여자친구를 소개합니다 , literally: Let me introduce (you to) my girlfriend) is a 2004 South Korean fantasy-romantic comedy. It stars Jun Ji-hyun, Jang Hyuk, and directed by Kwak Jae-yong. It was released on 3 June 2004 by CJ Entertainment and ran at 123 minutes.

Windstruck starts with Gyeong-jin (Ji-hyun Jeon), a hardworking and tough police officer who takes no mercy to criminals. One day as she was chasing a purse snatcher, he ended up with a wrong man, a highly revered high school Physics teacher named Myung-woo (Hyuk Jang). Everything cleared up but because of Myung-woo's chagrin, he decided to take part of Gyeong-jin's patrol program. After being handcuffed to Gyeong-jin, he found himself helplessly smitten by the young and beautiful police officer.

not exactly. If Im not mistaken. My Sassy girl was based on a true life story. although with the same director and casts, the writer from windstruck made a story that would somehow create a delusion that there is a connection between MSS and Windstruck. They said themselves that windstruck is purely an inspiration as a prequel. If you watched My Girl and I, fans from the 3 movies would definitely say that there is somehow a string. But sadly, there is not.
