Carpet Cleaning Tips
If you are planning on cleaning your carpets yourself then I have some tips that should make it easier for you.
Vacuuming is the most important part about carpet cleaning. You can remove large amount of dirt this way. Most people don't vacuum as long as they should. You should be spending as least thirty minutes on an average size room. Yes that's right. Most of the dirt is caught up in the fibers so is needs this time to get dislodged. This is also way upright vacuums are better as they have a bar that bets the carpet helping the vacuum. Next after you have taken the dust and grit out what you are left with is dirt that has become bonded to the fiber. The next step would be to pre spray using a small amount of the solution from your tank that you are going to use. By the way the Ph is very important with carpet colors so never over mix the recommended amounts. You will only need to mist the traffic lanes. Leave for about ten minutes to do it work breaking down that bond. Next clean you carpet as instructed by the hire or your machine directions. Don't over wet your carpet as this can damage it. If it's really dirty let it dry and the go over again. Over wetting can cause lots of problems that can damage your carpets beyond repair. When you're done to speed up drying get some fans if you have some point them at the carpet open the small windows and put the heating on if it cold this will give you the air flow you need for quick drying.
