Joining an MLM business
The first time someone introduce you to an MLM business, your first question might be “Kikita ba ako diyan?” But that’s not what most people ask, “Baka Pyramid scam yan?”
Out of curiosity, you can start listening to the business plan. Your friend eagerly shares and convinces you how lucrative this business is. Numbers run through your mind calculating how much is the investment versus the expected income, how much time to spent, how many people you know, and how many you people you know who succeeded. The latter has a ready answer. You asked the recruiter about his earning. He’ll show you the checks he received for the last three months and tells stories about people he knows from the business who earned so much in less than 3 months. Time flew by and only 10% of the business plan went thru your skeptical mind. The conversation ended with a promise “Sige, Pare pag-iisipan ko.” Soon you’ll be asking people you know about this MLM business. Your brain becomes a sponge of various stories, hearsays and testimonies about it. The word “Pyramid” is haunting and the thought of investment turned to thin air threatens the egotistic economist in you. You need to learn more or should be said, you need to hear more success stories. At last after 3 months, you’ve reached the point; you are convinced that it’s not really a Pyramid scam like Avon, Fern, or Amway. A lot of people are earning successfully in the business. You sought the help of the recruiter to discuss the business plan again. This time he fetches you with his own car and off to the business center. You feel the excitement of the realization and are ready to learn everything about the business. Reaching the center you we’re greeted by people most of whom you know. It seems that your friend have already recruited all the people you know for last couple of months. Again, you thought of another question, “Sino pa kaya pwede ko i-recruit?”Fern Share this post (facebook, email, twitter, etc) at pagpapalain ka ng husto.
