One of the hardest things to deal with as an international student in the US is expense. As an international student, you will probably have to deal with payments for tuition, boarding, books, utilities, commuting, and other living expenses. Before you get overwhelmed by all of these expenses, it's important to remember that many international students have gone before you and succeeded, so there is no reason why you won't be able to succeed as well. First off, remember that not all schools are expensive. You can find a school with an excellent curriculum and facilities at a decent price. Second, foreign student programs can greatly reduce your expenses. Third, contact relatives and friends who have been based in the US for some time so you can get help, advise, or maybe even cheap rent from them. Finally, be sure to plan your future very carefully. Have a solid plan for your academics, mode of income while studying, and possible professions after you graduate.
