2 child policy as intro
do you think 2 child policy is just an way that abortion should be passed also? when the mother concieved and that she has alraedy 2 children, so that the policy will not be transgressed, there is a need to abort the child. so, what do you think, is child policy is their way so that abortion will be approved as law?

I am favor with two child policy law. But it depends on the situation. Of course, you have to check first your income stability. For those couple, whom they think incapable of having 2 or more children, the two child policy is good. But, there are couples who has good income and they are capable to earn a living for their children, the law is not infavor with them. Sometimes, I wish to become a president. I will impose a law, The law state that, before a couple will get marry, they have to present first their income tax return (ITR), bank account and certificate of employment. In order to authorize them to get marriage license. The children will going to suffer if the parents has lesser income. Sometimes some of them are unemployed. Nowadays, both parents should have a job, Minimum wage income is not sufficient for everyday expenses. Giving milk, clothes and diaper, immunization is not the only responsibilities parents have to think. The responsibility is continues, We have to send them in school from pre-school to college. As a parent, we really have to work hard for our children, We should give them the best. Aside from giving them unconditional love and support. We, parents always prioritize their welfare.
If this policy will be approved, yes that's for sure, that will be another way to legalize abortion. Im in favor of that two child policy, pero depende sa situation. I have explained my views already dun sa kabila. But i'm not in favor with abortion, again, depende na lng sa situation. But all i can say, that policy won't materialize in a country like Phils.

I am in favor of the two-child policy!!! it is not a bridge towards legalizing abortion!!! it will only reduce the growing npopulation of the philippines to a controlled state!!! ![]()

for example, if a mother, who has a two children already, becomes pregnant and considering not to transgressed the policy or law on two child policy, the mother whether she likes it or not should abort the child...now what do you think

You must understand that this 2-child policy is not mandatory, meaning this bill, also known as the Reproductive Health Act if 2004, only encourages parents and parents-to-be to educate themselves with the factors that will affect their reproductive health rights. As for the 2-child policy, it says in section 13 of the bill that the state '..shall encourage two children as the ideal family size.' It does not, in any way, prohibit people from having more than two children, nor does it lead to encouragement and legalization of abortion. Thinking that the two-child policy will lead to abortion is committing a slippery slope fallacy and it is not right. IMHO lang.

Right Yssirk, hindi naman kailangan ang abortion dito eh. At first, knowing that this bill already exist, then you have to avoid, get more knowledge on how NOT to get pregnant. Don't wait 'til you get preggy and say, SANA NAGFAMILY PLANNING AKO NOON. Cause that's not an excuse if you'll wait and then decide to have abortion. This I consider as really sinful.
For that 2-child Policy to succeed, more family education is needed.

i know that it is not mandatory if approved. and i think the statements are a fallacy of of slippery slope in a sense that their is no series of consequence stated. i think it is more on argumentum ad consequentiam....however, we should also think about a possible consequence. and remember, there is rule in logic that no one should attack the person who made the statement. a fallacy of argumentum ad hominem can be committed

by the way i forget to argue that if the bill will be passed and that it is not mandatory, why then to passed it as a law. we should remember that a law connotes mandatory.

we are not in china where rules are strictly enforced!!! d pa naman masyadong malinaw ang guidelines about the policy!!! at hindi rin abortion ang paraan para lamang masunod ang batas na ito!!! they are still encouraging parents most especially parents to be to follow this new law!!!

yes we are not china.but remember the present crisis of the countries who made a law about policy on number of the child in the family....italy, japan, china and singapore. they are all rich country. but now they are facing the crisis of lack of human resources which is the major factor in economics no matter what kind of government they have. they are facing the crisis because of the policy. even prime minister lee of singapore said that they were wrong when they implemented the policy that now their economics is in crisis because of lack of man power.
and we cannot say that the sections in the policy are clear. we have to be aware of the euphimism in the bill. even the word encourage connotes that it is not mandatory. therefore if it is not mandatory why to pass it as law which law in the course of our study connotes mandatory and that this is the reason also why i ask about the statement...they are still encouraging parents most especially parents to be to follow this new law!!! .... and we have to read atleast some of its section to have enough matter loading about the bill so that are argument will be more reliable. so b4 we argue we should undertand the bill.
i agree in 2 child policy, but of course depende rin sa situation...kya lng kc kya nman naisip nyang 2 child policy na yan is because to lessen our growing population,so khit kya mong bumuhay ng maraming ank, hindi rin cguro nila iaalow..ewan ko lng ha...but i dnt this will be their way para maging legal ang abortion.i think their main concern is jst our growing population...masyado n kcng lumiliit ang bansa ntin sa lki ng population.
Two child policy hindi din mag wowork sa pinas kasi nga yung pinalabas nilang FAMILY PLANNING hindi nga nag work yung two child policy pa kaya? Now abortion is something we must really focus on because abortion is not acceptable its a crime against humanity and god i know the government in the philippines is desprate to pass this bill to the people but what can they do about it? even if it is mandatory the two child policy still won't work...
tanong lang po.
how exactly will the government monitor the implimentation of the two-child policy? they have records of married couples, ryt? pero what about those couples that are in the "live-in" status(lalo na at uso yan ngayon dahil crisis e. mahal magpakasal!). dont tell me yung mga di kasal e di manganganak. ![]()
Sa married couples lang applicable ang incentives ng two-child policy. the rest of the bill is about educating couples about their sexuality and giving them the freedom of choice regarding family planning.

that is the point. what we should focus is education but not on sexuality but on the use of sex in marriage or the purpose of sex (procreation) and and no just freedon of choice regarding family planning but its objective and right concept. nowadays, people have different views of what freedom is.
i agree in 2-child policy.par din naman yan sa mga maagang nag-aasawa.
huwag na pakialaman ng gobyerno matris ng mga babae. for me sige, magtwo child policy sila, provided na magpavasectomy mga lalaki after two kids. knowing the male species, naku, e kung tipong Ramon Revilla yan na andami asawa? hind effective!!! what the government must do it provide adequate reproductive health services to women! at family planning program...hindi ang malaking populasyon ang sanhi ng krisis ng lipunang Pilipino
i agree to you weepingprincess that population is not the reason of the present crisis just like how lagman holds as he put in the explanatory note of the bill that the big population in the cause of poverty. but i will not agree on vasectomy.
