"Vea Loves Ken"

Episode I

Vea is a 3rd year high school student. She is an old student and she studies here since grade 5. She is kind but sometimes rude and hard to understand. She is not that pretty or that ugly but she is intelligent, she is one of the best students in their school. She fights for what she believes in and if she said it, she will definitely do it—that’s the reason why some people considers her as a war freak! Well, they are wrong, they don’t know that Vea also has a soft side. She laughs and cries over the funniest and corniest things. She is a sweet girl that’s why sometimes even she doesn’t feel anything for a guy they think she has a crush on him. Her friends always tell her “Vea, you have it all, you’re so lucky. You can have all you wanted. You’re one of the students who excel in class. You have many friends. What else can you wish for?” Vea really have it all except for one thing—Love. She doesn’t have a love life and even though she has everything, she can’t have love that easy. She never crossed the road of falling in love. Nobody falls in love with her also or should I say she is so high to be reach. She has it all so you really should have the guts and be willing to take the pain.

It was 1st day of school and all are excited. 1st day is the orientation day. All high school students gather in one room. It is where they will be oriented in the schools’ guidelines, Goals, etc. They will also have their time in getting to know one another. Everyone will be asked to introduce his or her self! Vea sits on the 1st row with her classmates. Suddenly, she notices this guy sitting not that near and not that far away from her. He is Ken. Ken, the shy guy, is a 4th year high school student. He is cute but a simply serious and quiet type of person maybe because he is a transferee. He is a classmate of Vea’s brother, Jake. Jake is a very supportive brother to Vea and so close to her.

Vea build up an unusual feeling for Ken. Its different, she wants to see him always. But if Ken is there, she has her reasons to go away. Her friends don’t suspect her and notice it. Both of them are not comfortable when they stay in one place. She’s not sure if she is in love with him or she simply feels a simple admiration or infatuation only. She doesn’t even know Ken but she just know she knew him before. How would you know someone who you don’t even know and you just met?

As days go, Vea understands what’s her real feeling for Ken. One night, when she can’t sleep she admitted to herself that she loves Ken. Love is a natural feeling. She loves Ken from that start its just that she can’t confess it to herself.

After that night, Vea decided to know Ken more. She is afraid she might fall in the wrong person. She has an instinct that Ken likes her too because if he isn’t why would he be uncomfortable when they are together? So Vea observed him. She saw that it is his nature to be quiet. She also discovered that Ken lives in a place away from the city that’s why he is a quiet guy. Vea did have this information’s but she wants more. What she wants is to know Ken personally and be a little bit close to him. She don’t have any Hidden Agenda, she will not seduce Ken, she just wants to know him as he is and not what others tell about him.

Vea searched for some ways to know Ken more deeply. Since Ken is a classmate of Jake. She thought maybe his brother has Ken’s phone number. She borrowed the cell phone of his brother and she told him that she would just check on something. Well, it was all a success. She got the number of Ken that easy.

Vea quickly get her cell phone from her closet and she text Ken. “Hi! Can you be my text mate?: p ” the very first message that she sent Ken. She is so happy even she doesn’t have any reply. After 3 minutes Ken reply with the message: “Hu r u?”. Then she introduced herself to Ken. He told him that she is Lea a 2nd H.S. student of a school that is 2 towns away from his school. She also told him that she needs a text mate and a friend because her life is an unexciting one.

They say, “all that begins well, ends well”. How could it be from the start Vea lied? Is it true that “All that begins in Lie, ends in lie”, also? Or is there another way to change things positively if something unexpected happens?

How would Vea admit to Ken the truth?
Is there a chance for an everlasting love for both of them?
And How far could Vea go for Love?
