A NIGHT TO REMEMBER

You came to me that night
And danced with me through the strobbing lights
I wish the dance would never end
Music was in perfect blend

You smiled at me
with a smile so sweet
that really swept me of my feet

The music stopped
Look like it flopped
staring at each other's eyes
you blushed and thanked me

I glanced at the clock
I had to go

When I got home
I went to my room
recalling that evening..
Boy! was i dreaming..

I know i wouldn't see you anymore
but what the heck!
It was a night to remember..

Sweet Remembrance

We were young and full of life
Loving and so carefree
Our joys reached to the heavens
As if there were no sorrows that awaited us..

A relationship so innocent and sweet
This is what young love is all about..
I will treasure the memory
As I age from day to day...

When I look back again,
i'll smile and thank the LORD
for such a sweet remembrance in you..

A LITTLE MEM'RY

A little friendship that we had
A little chat that made me glad
A little stare that made me blush
A little heartbeat for my crush

A little music, a little song
To cover-up when things go wrong
A little heart that wants to say
but too tongue-tied to speak

A little moment of silence
A little time was all we had
A little voice that said goodbye
A little mem'ry that made me sigh...

FRIENDSHIP IS A BLESSING

I feel so richly blessed to have
A friend who stands beside me
Who takes an interest in the things I do

A friend whose strength I lean upon
Whose wisdom help to guide me
Whose faith and trust
will always see me through

I feel so blessed to have a friend
Whose truly understanding
Who cares about my every thought and mood

A friend whose so encouraging
And yet so undemanding
Who shares so much
but never would intrude

I feel so blessed to have a friend
Who adds such joy to living
And I just pray that
I'll be worthy of this friend
who is so good to me,
So thoughtful kind and giving,

This friend I'll always treasure, always love.
