the individual and the state
what is your opinion......do you think the good of individual is inseparable to the common good of the human society? does the end of the state is the good of the human person? is common good a collection of the good of all individuals in the state?

actually, d naman malalimang topic. in fact it is relevant to the present socio-political situation in the country. so kung magmamasid tayo, makakarelate kaagad tayo sa topic. kahit peace can be tackled in this particular subject( that is good )

i think it is not good to say n we don't care about our country that we only need is to enjoy our life. kung minsan, ang pageenjoy ay nangangailangan ng tamang panahon. kung mag-eenjoy naman tayong marami ang naghihirap dahil marami sa atin ang walng pakialam, puede ba yon. if that is so, we sound indifferent. as a citizen of this nation, we should be involve. we are a public, a group of people confronted by an issue. we and we should be one in facing the issue. alam mo friend. d naman ako nangsisisi. cguro we need only to be aware about what is happening. if not, wala na taypong pinagkaiba sa ibang Pilipino noong kapanahunan ng mga kastila. so even we are not very aware of the topic, we are encourage to say our own opinion. wag kayong mag-alala, d ko kokontrahin ang opinyon nyo.
they are not inseparable, why? a state or nation cannot be called as such w/o the citizens(or individuals or ppl)

you say that the state cannot come into existence without the state. so, in what way that the state is formed, do you think by the consent of the citizen or it is a natural institution?

Take it from here:
A Nation: is a large aggregate of people united by common descent, history and culture inhabiting a particular territory and under one government. A state refers to a legal/political entity that is comprised of the following: a) a permanent population; b) a defined territory; c) a government ; and d) the capacity to enter into relations with other state. Hope it answered your complicated question.
so it is really a result of the consent and not a natural institution where a human person seek to live because he sees that the society can provide him the means to develop fully his being a human person?

Dont get me wrong here k, why do u keep on using human and person at the same time? Dont we all know that a human is a person?(or vice versa)And in my view its gramatically incorrect.
Here's a little something for you, hope it helps. hu'man be'ing 1. any individual of the genus Homo, esp. a member of the species Homo sapiens. 2. a person, esp. as distinguished from other animals or as representing the human species. Or in simple word a PERSON. \Per"son\, n. A living, self-conscious being, as distinct from an animal or a thing; a moral agent; a human being; a man, woman, or child. Or in simple word a HUMAN. And do u refer "natural institution" as the people? or u have other meaning? And with this phrase "so it is really a result of the consent" where did it come from? consent of who??? please specify. I'm sorry to say this but, your ideas are good but your choices of words is hard to understand. I'm not perfect and mind u i make lots of mistakes too but, urs is worst. No offense. cheers!

there is a big different between the term human, person and human person. when we say human, biologically and philosophically, the one dimension of his very being as an animal. when we say person, we mean his rational dimension, that is a being endowed with reason. but when we say human person, we refer to the two dimension of a being, that is he is an animal which is belong to the mammal but he transcend his animality by his faculty to reason out and to will a thing that makes him differ to other animals. there are other concepts that make them different from one another but these is only the things that i can say because if we will discuss it further, we may result to a one-book discussion about those subjects.
have you read the philosophy of the ancient philosopher aristotle or the contemporary philiosopher jacques maritain, when they said that it is a naturak institution, they mean they came from man's desire that because of this common desire they were able to form the society( its discussion is in the book of aristotle "the politics" and in the book of maritain "the person and the common good")---- you may refer to these books. and when we say consent, the political philosophy of hobbes and locke tells that they are a result of man's reason that they need something that will solve problems when a two party do not agree to one another. they serve an the arbiter. something like that( you may read further the books of the two philosophers)

Q#1. Yes, it's inseparable coz society is made up of individuals. #2. One can say that to bring an end to a corrupt state will ultimately (provided it is replaced by good governance) benefit the inhabitants of the state. #3. common good=common law; some may argue this to be true but the state must put matters into test. hope this make a bit of sense.
you know i admire those citizen who want to be involve in solving the problems of there country even by simply expressing their idea. however, such idea will not emerge if there is no effort. so when someone do some effort to know the problem, they are contributing to the solution of it. and i see that you are doing things and efforts, by discussing it to your friends even you don't comment in the topics, i would say that you are among the contemporary hero of the country
thanks for the acknowledgement. one of the biggest problem of a society/state are the lawmakers. they mostly think not from the heart thus resulting errors in the formulation of legislations which consequently create a complex judicial system and/or injustices in the course of applying their laws.
